Technical Workshop for the Refinement of the Vision

The Conference Hall of the Yaounde Omnisports Sports Complex hosted the official opening ceremony of the Technical Workshop for the Consolidation and Validation of Draft 0 of the Cameroon National Youth Council Strategic Plan and the 2026–2029 Operational Plan.

Presided over by Dr. Akede Metougue Eric, Inspector General of Services at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, the ceremony marked the beginning of two days of intensive work dedicated to refining the strategic vision of the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC).The workshop brings together ministry officials, youth representatives, and technical experts to examine Draft 0 of the strategic plan, ensuring its alignment with national development priorities.

The 2026–2029 Operational Plan is expected to serve as a roadmap for strengthening youth participation in civic life and enhancing institutional efficiency.The President of the Cameroon National Youth Council, Fadimatou IYAWA Ousmanou, emphasized the importance of structured dialogue and collaboration in shaping a plan that reflects the aspirations of Cameroon’s young population. The ceremony underscored the government’s commitment to empowering youth and consolidating civic education as a cornerstone of national progress.
