Mounouna Foutsou is a Cameroonian political figure. He is the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education since the Government reshuffle of October 2, 2015.

BIOGRAPHY:

  • Born in 1967 in BANGANA
  • Originally hails from the Far-North Region / Mayo-Danay Division
  • Married and father of 5 children

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • 9 December 2011– 2 October 2015: Secretary of State to the Minister of Secondary Education in charge of Teacher Training
  • 30 June 2009– 8 December 2011: Secretary of State to the Minister of Secondary Education
  • 2005– June 2009: Head of the Division of Youth Economic Empowerment and National Coordinator of PAJER-U and PIFMAS projects at the Ministry of Youth Affairs
  • 1998– 2005: Head of the Real Estate Department of the State abroad / Directorate of Architecture and Housing at MINUH and later at MINDAF / Yaoundé
  • 1994– 1998: Design Engineer No. 5 at the Sub– of Maintenance / Department of Architecture and Housing at MINUH / Yaoundé
  • 1993: Served as additional staff at the provincial Town Planning Office of the Far-North in Maroua
