The very first woman mayor of the Adamaoua region explains that the mixing of peoples here is a reality. It is a Cameroon in miniature.

Economic activity is based on agriculture and trade. The youth of Mayo-Darlé represent 60% of the population. She continued by thanking the President of the Republic who does not leave the youth of this district behind. Thus, the locality has benefited from the creation of a pioneer village of agricultural production in Pangari which produces maize, from
the creation of a pioneer volunteer scheme under the PTS-JEUNES fund and
the government has provided funding for the construction of the CMPJ.

A word from Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou, National President of the National Youth Council of Cameroon (CNJC).

The youths entrust me to convey to the Head of State all their gratitude and appreciation for the choice of their city for the launching of the Youth Day (YD), the President said at the outset.

She went on to say that by choosing the theme of this edition, the Head of State is calling on young people to stop the growing number of uncivil acts.

The CNJC is involved in the supervision of young people for a responsible youth, she said. This is why the CNJC is placing particular emphasis on REAMORCE. Through this theme, the government is giving the CNJC the tools to carry out its mission.
