The contribution of Germany

The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, welcomed a visiting German delegation in his ministerial department, driving new initiatives for youth development, vocational training, and civic engagement in Cameroon.

Led by Jonathan Gatzer Otto, Deputy Head of Cooperation, alongside Christoph Feldkötter, the incoming GIZ Country Director, the audience centered on transforming youth potential into real-world success. Focusing on expanding practical vocational training, creating sustainable green jobs, and boosting civic involvement through Multipurpose Youth Empowerment Centres. Both leaders pledged to deepen bilateral ties, equipping the next generation with the tools, skills, and confidence needed to build a resilient economic future.
