The contribution of BGFI Bank for the youth
A partnership agreement and procedures manual have been signed between MINJEC and BgfiBank Cameroon on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at Hotel Mont-Febe Yaounde
This partnership
agreement between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and BGFIBank Cameroun S.A. is relating to the support and financing of projects for the socio-economic integration of youths.
It is important to note that in this Partnership, MINJEC has to select the youths to be financed according to the requirements of the procedures manual in force at MINJEC, to communicate to BGFIBank Cameroon the lists of youths selected by the Credit and Guarantee Committee of FOGAJEUNE or also to transfer the resources intended for the financing of youth projects to the main account of MINJEC domiciled at BGFIBank Cameroon. On the other hand, for BGFIBank Cameroon, it is a question of Carrying out its commitments in accordance with the provisions of the Procedures Manual in force at MINJEC, open a main FOGAJEUNE/Financing account, sub-accounts “Diaspora Youth Guarantee” and “National Youth Guarantee”, open a
FOGAJEUNE/Reimbursement main account.
The General Manager of BGFIBANK Cameroon, Abakal Mahamat, was very grateful for this opportunity to partner with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and he further focused on the missions of BGFIBANK Cameroon in this partnership. In his speech, minister Mounouna Foutsou assuring that his ministry will spare no effort in bringing this far-reaching partnership to fruition.
